As a senior, are you ready and prepared to make that next step into the college world?

The senior year of high school is a significant part of the recruiting process for any high school student-athlete. Senior year can bring some uncertainties for any high schooler, but we hope this information below can assist with any questions you may have regarding the recruiting process.

These are the recruiting guidelines for high school seniors:

  • Telephone calls can be made at both the student-athletes expense and the coaches expense. Phone calls can be made by both parties and returned.
  • All forms of electronic correspondence (texts, emails, etc.) are permissible but MUST be kept private until a written commitment is provided to the school.
  • Recruiting materials (non-athletic publications, questionnaires, camp brochures) may be received any time during the senior year.
  • Off-campus contact is allowed no more than three times. Unlimited off- campus contact is allowed once a National Letter of Intent is signed.
  • Unofficial visits may take place at any time (except for a dead period) and the student-athlete may speak to the coaching staff. An unlimited amount of unofficial visits are allowed.
  • Official visits are permitted except during a dead period. A maximum of five official visits can be taken with a limit of one per school.

These guidelines are very important to stick by. You do not want to put yourself in a sticky position so it is better to be safe than sorry.
